NORBAR TORQUE TOOLS AUSTRALIA | LAND FORCES 2026

Norbar Land Forces 2026 Prize Draw

Terms and conditions

These terms govern the free Norbar Land Forces 2026 Prize Draw. There are two prizes with a total retail value of AUD $2,256.10 including GST. Entry is available only to eligible visitors who attend the Norbar stand at Land Forces 2026 in Perth.

1 Promoter and contact

The promoter is Norbar Torque Tools (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 64 007 938 927), of 45–47 Raglan Avenue, Edwardstown SA 5039, Australia (Norbar). Competition enquiries and claims may be sent to norbarWA@norbar.com.au or made by calling (08) 9455 7717. Written enquiries may also be addressed to the Perth office at Unit 2, 22 Chullora Bend, Jandakot WA 6164.

2 Promotion period

Entries open at 9:00 am on Tuesday 6 October 2026 and close at 3:30 pm on Thursday 8 October 2026. All times in these terms are Australian Western Standard Time (AWST, UTC+8). Entries must be received by the closing time. The event is held at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6000.

3 Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who attend Land Forces 2026 in a professional or business capacity and visit the Norbar stand during the promotion period. Entrants must be permitted by their employer’s applicable policies to enter and accept a prize. Entry is in the individual’s own name.

Australian Defence officials, including Australian Defence Force members, Department of Defence employees and contractors acting as Defence officials, are excluded. Foreign military and foreign defence officials are also excluded. Employment by a commercial defence-industry supplier does not, by itself, make a person a Defence official.

Directors and employees of Norbar, people directly involved in administering this promotion, and their immediate families are excluded. Immediate family means a spouse or partner, parent, child or sibling. Anyone whose employer’s policies prohibit entry or acceptance of a prize is ineligible.

4 How to enter

Visit the Norbar stand, scan the competition QR code on the stand signage or television, and complete the linked entry form on norbaraustralia.com.au during the promotion period. A Norbar staff member can assist with access to the same form at the stand. Provide your full name, email address, company or organisation, role, and state or territory of residence; confirm your eligibility and attendance; and accept these terms.

Each valid submission earns one standard entry. Entry is free and no purchase, marketing subscription, consultation booking or case-study participation is required. Normal internet or mobile data charges may apply. Event admission is separate and is not supplied by this promotion. Access to the online form does not make a person eligible without the required stand visit.

5 Optional bonus entry

An eligible entrant may receive one additional entry by completing both optional application questions in the same entry form before the closing time: (a) identify a real item of equipment, component or bolting task on which they would consider using the XR; and (b) describe the current tightening method or a practical difficulty associated with that task. A torque requirement may be provided if known but is not compulsory.

The application must be genuine, relevant to the entrant’s work and sufficiently specific to answer both questions. A generic response such as “tightening bolts”, advertising, copied material unrelated to the entrant’s work, or an incomplete response will not qualify. Norbar will assess these published criteria consistently before the draw. Applications are not ranked for creativity or commercial value, and the draw remains random.

The entrant does not need to prove that the XR Pro 600 is technically suitable for the application. Awarding a bonus entry is not technical approval or a recommendation to use the tool on that task. An application that does not qualify for the bonus does not invalidate an otherwise valid standard entry. Do not submit confidential, classified or commercially sensitive information or information you are not authorised to share.

6 Entry limits and verification

The maximum is two entries per person: one standard entry and one eligible bonus entry. Multiple email addresses or repeated submissions do not create additional entries. If the same person submits more than once, Norbar will consolidate the submissions, use the latest contact details received before closing, and allow no more than one bonus entry if any timely submission meets clause 5.

Norbar may request reasonable evidence of identity, age, Australian residency, event attendance, stand attendance or employer permission. Norbar may reject entries that do not meet these terms or are fraudulent or automated, but will not reject an entry merely because the entrant declines marketing, a consultation or publicity. Norbar will record the reasons for exclusions and protect any verification documents.

7 Prizes

First prize: one Norbar XR Pro 600 adjustable mechanical torque wrench, part number 14051, with a torque range of 120–600 N·m (90–440 lbf·ft), interchangeable ¾-inch and 1-inch square drives, and carry case. Retail value: AUD $1,981.10 including GST.

Second prize: one Norbar-branded esky with an assortment of Norbar merchandise selected by Norbar. The combined retail value of the esky and merchandise is AUD $275.00 including GST. No particular merchandise item, garment size or colour is guaranteed unless expressly identified in the promotion.

There are two prizes in total, with a combined retail value of AUD $2,256.10 including GST. One person may win no more than one prize. First prize is the fixed XR Pro 600 model and will not be changed to match an entrant’s application. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable, except as required by law. There is no fee to claim or receive a prize.

8 Draw procedure

The draw will take place at 10:00 am on Monday 12 October 2026 at Norbar’s Perth office, Unit 2, 22 Chullora Bend, Jandakot WA 6164. Winners do not need to attend. Members of the public may request to witness the draw by contacting Norbar before the draw; access will be facilitated where practicable, subject to reasonable site safety requirements.

Norbar will assign a unique identifier to each valid standard and bonus entry and use a random electronic selection process. Each entry in a draw has an equal chance of selection. First prize will be drawn first. All entries belonging to that winner will then be removed before second prize is drawn. The chance of winning depends on the number of valid entries. Norbar will retain the entry list and an auditable record of the draw.

9 Notification and publication

Norbar will email the selected winners on 12 October 2026 and, if a phone number has been supplied, may also contact them by phone. Selection is subject to eligibility verification. Norbar will make reasonable efforts to contact winners, including a reminder before the claim deadline if no response has been received.

Results will be published by 19 October 2026 on the promotion landing page linked from https://norbaraustralia.com.au/ and will remain available for at least 30 days after publication. Publication will identify the prize, the confirmed winner’s first initial and surname, and state or territory. A prize awaiting verification or acceptance will be marked “confirmation pending” and updated within two business days of confirmation. Winners may request that their identifying details be withheld where permitted by law; the prize status will still be published.

10 Claiming and delivery

Winners must respond to Norbar and claim their prize by 5:00 pm on Monday 26 October 2026. They must provide the reasonable information needed to verify eligibility and arrange delivery. A winner who responds by the deadline will not lose the prize merely because Norbar’s verification remains in progress. Any further reasonable verification deadline will be communicated in writing.

Norbar will arrange delivery to an Australian address at no charge or collection by agreement. Norbar will deliver prizes within 28 days of the relevant draw, except where the winner agrees in writing to a later date or cannot be located despite reasonable efforts. Winners are responsible for using the tool in accordance with its instructions and the applicable requirements of their work.

11 Unclaimed or ineligible prizes

Subject to any required regulatory approval or direction, prizes unclaimed by the deadline, expressly declined, or not validly awarded because the selected person is ineligible will be redrawn at 10:00 am on Tuesday 27 October 2026 at the same Perth address. The redraw will use the original valid entries, excluding people who have already won a prize and entries belonging to an ineligible person or the person who failed to claim or declined that prize. If both prizes are redrawn, first prize is drawn first and the one-prize-per-person rule applies.

Redraw winners will be emailed on 27 October 2026 and confirmed results published by 3 November 2026 in the same way. They must claim by 5:00 pm on 10 November 2026. If a prize is still unclaimed, Norbar will conduct a further draw at 10:00 am on 11 November 2026 and, if needed, at 15-day intervals thereafter, allowing each new winner at least 14 days to claim. The same notification, publication, verification and delivery rules apply, subject to regulatory directions. If no eligible entries remain, Norbar will seek directions from the relevant regulator.

12 Optional consultation and case studies

Entrants may separately request a complimentary initial 20-minute phone or video consultation with a Norbar Torque Bolting Specialist, arranged at a mutually suitable time. This is not a prize and does not earn an entry or improve the chance of winning. It is an initial application discussion only; detailed audits, site visits, calibration and other services are not included and would require a separate agreement.

Entrants may separately indicate an interest in discussing a possible case study. This is voluntary and does not affect entry, the bonus entry or prize entitlement. No entrant or winner is obliged to participate in filming, photography, testimonials or other promotional activity. Any case study requires separate written agreement and any necessary employer, customer or site approvals before content is collected or published. Entering does not grant Norbar permission to publish the entrant’s application description.

13 Personal information and marketing

Norbar collects entry details and, where necessary, verification and delivery information to administer this promotion, assess bonus-entry eligibility, contact winners, deliver prizes, publish results as described above and meet record-keeping requirements. Required information is necessary to process an entry. Optional consultation and case-study choices will be used to respond to those requests.

Information may be shared with service providers assisting Norbar with the form, secure data storage, draw administration or prize delivery, and with regulators where required by law. Those providers may only use the information for the relevant service or as legally required. A collection notice on the entry form will identify relevant service arrangements, including any overseas disclosure, where required by applicable privacy law.

Competition entry is separate from ongoing marketing consent. Any marketing subscription must be a separate, optional, unticked choice. Declining or withdrawing marketing consent does not affect an entry or prize entitlement. Entrants can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the unsubscribe facility in the communication. Necessary competition administration messages may still be sent.

Norbar will retain the records needed to substantiate this promotion for five years after the final draw, or longer if legally required or needed for an unresolved dispute. Unnecessary identity-document copies will not be retained once verification is complete unless retention is legally required. Information will otherwise be securely destroyed or de-identified when no longer needed for an authorised purpose. Entrants may request access to or correction of personal information, or raise a privacy complaint, through the contact details in clause 1. Norbar will assess and respond to those requests in accordance with applicable privacy law.

14 Fair administration and legal rights

Norbar will administer this promotion fairly and in accordance with applicable Australian laws. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Entry does not waive any right to raise a complaint with a regulator or seek a legal remedy.

If an event outside Norbar’s reasonable control materially affects the promotion, Norbar will seek any required regulatory approval before changing, suspending or cancelling it and will publish approved changes on the promotion page. Norbar will not change the terms after commencement, cancel the promotion or substitute a prize without any required prior regulatory approval. Any permitted substitute must be of equivalent or greater value, with the winner’s agreement where required.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, without displacing mandatory laws or entrant rights that apply elsewhere in Australia. This is a Norbar promotion; Land Forces and its organiser do not administer the draw or supply the prizes. Questions or complaints about the promotion should be directed to Norbar using clause 1.
