How to use a Norbar EBT Torque Multiplier
Video Transcript
Hi, my name’s Daniel, I’m from Norbar Australia, and I’m going to be showing you our EBT Torque Multiplier. This tool ranges from 800 Newton-metres up to 4000 Netwon-metres. For this demonstration I’m going to be showcasing our 1350 tool..
In the box, you get the tool, two batteries, a three bay charger, standard crank reaction arm, spare square drive; you’re gonna get a power cord, USB cable, USB and USB dongle for Bluetooth connectivity, a secondary handle and lastly, your documentation. In there is your certificate of calibration for torque and angle, accurate to plus or minus 3%, a quick reference guide and also an operator’s manual.
And now I’m going to show how to assemble the tool using this EBT 800. We’re gonna plug in the battery and attach the reaction arm. Retaining with the circlip and I’m also going to retain the socket on there. Now that the socket’s attached, I’m going to set the tool; do this by holding down the trigger. The tool will turn on. Once the tool is on, I’m going to then set the tool. Today I’m going to be setting it to 500 Newton-metres. And now we’re ready to go. We’re going to engage the socket fully on the nut. So now I’m gonna press and hold down the trigger to actuate the tool until the tool stalls. The tool will flash gree, indicating your final torque output.
And that’s how easy it is. If you would like to learn more about our EBT, give us a call anytime.
