How to use a Norbar Professional Series Torque Wrench
Video Transcript
Hi, my name’s Daniel, I’m from Norbar Australia, and today we’re going to run you through our Professional Series Torque Wrench. Our range starts from our 15 Newton-meter tool, up to our 400. But for today, I’m going to show you our Professional 200.
At the unboxing, you’re going to get your wrench. And you’re going to get a series of documentation. First up is your calibration certificate, which is accurate to plus or minus 3%.
You’re going to get a calibration reminder stamp, which will tell you when your wrench is due for calibration. And then you’re also going to get a little booklet; how to use your wrench and the do’s and don’ts.
Now, looking at the wrench itself, it comes with an industrial-style mushroom head, a push-pull locking knob that clearly indicates when the tool is locked or unlocked. And a very easy to read micro-scale to make sure that you’re setting your tool accurately.
And now I’m going to show you how to use the wrench. We’re going to set it to 60 Newton-metres. Lock it off. Heading over to our wheel, fully engaging the socket. Placing my hand in the middle of the wrench, indicated by the little plus symbol. And then we’re going to actuate until we hear the click. And that’s all there is to it.
So that’s how you use or Professional Series Torque Wrench. If you would like to learn more, feel free to give us a call.
